Our Story

"Vero" (veh-roh) means "true" in Italian, and that's our whole vibe. We are inspired by the countless tales of self-confidence, by enduring the journey towards self-love, and by every woman who has ever felt the need to fit in to a mold that wasn’t hers. We exist not just as a fashion brand, but as a movement; a movement to embrace and celebrate every woman as she is.

A Note from the Founder

Growing up, my curly hair became my first lesson in self acceptance. Peers often commented and in response I’d straighten my hair until it was completely damaged. High school brought new challenges; next to my more petite friends, I felt noticeably different. Every outfit was a calculator choice to avoid standing out. But deep down, I’ve always been passionate about fashion, dreaming and sketching since childhood. College was tough; walking into class I often felt overshadowed by trendier peers. Then came the challenges of the pandemic – the job loss, health hurdles, and a body that felt foreign. Yet through every high and low, my journey to self love and acceptance has shaped who I am. With Vero, my vision is clear: to offer every woman clothes that make her feel empowered, cherished and like the protagonist in her own story. Our bodies, our stories are beautiful, and together we can redefine the narrative of fashion.
